The Advanced Training Unit was established to reflect the role and mission of the Faculty of Engineering at Shoubra, Benha University, in providing educational and training opportunities. It aims to enhance the capabilities and skills of engineering and technical graduates, raising their professional and practical competencies to meet the demands of the competitive job market.

To achieve this, the unit’s annual training plan offers a variety of training packages and workshops across several fields of engineering, professional, and other disciplines. These are delivered by leveraging the extensive capabilities of the faculty and the university, as well as the distinguished expertise of its staff across all specializations. This is further supported by well-developed training materials, a flexible online platform, and state-of-the-art laboratories equipped with the latest technology and effectiveness, all meeting the quality standards required by the labor market. Trainees of all categories are provided with the necessary skills to perform their duties with high efficiency. Training programs will be held at flexible times that suit the participants’ needs.

The unit places great emphasis on aligning the content and focus of workshops and training courses with the real demands of the job market, ensuring we remain closely connected to the future needs of our communities. Our goal is to fill existing gaps in various sectors and to provide the missing cogs in the machine of progress through high-quality, relevant training programs that directly address societal needs.
