Unit Objectives

The unit aims to fulfill its mission of promoting a culture of creativity and innovation in service of the faculty and the community through the achievement of the following objectives:

1. Encourage students and faculty members to participate in creative and innovative activities.

2. Strengthen scientific and research collaboration among departments and units within the faculty and with industry, business communities, production and research institutions, the private sector, and civil society.

3. Direct scientific research to serve the community and address challenges to economic growth by focusing on research and ideas that can be transformed into practical innovations and marketable products with tangible economic impact, while linking research outputs to industry.

4. Strive to transform the outcomes of academic programs and research units into innovative projects and entrepreneurial ventures that address societal problems.

5. Attract outstanding scientific talent and support the development of their work and prototypes into successful ventures, thus creating a robust environment for innovation and entrepreneurship that contributes to societal development.

6. Establish partnerships among various stakeholders to create a supportive ecosystem for innovation and entrepreneurship, in line with the "Alliance and Development" initiative to achieve comprehensive development in Egypt and advance sustainable development for a better future.

7. Identify, manage, and coordinate various programs and initiatives derived from the national innovation and entrepreneurship strategy in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.

8. Support and adopt creative projects and ideas to qualify the faculty for national and international awards.
