Prof. Dr. Mohamed Saeed Abdelghaffar, Dean of Shoubra Faculty of Engineering, extends his sincere thanks and appreciation to Prof. Dr. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, for his continuous support of the faculty’s efforts and his dedication to enhancing the quality and accreditation system across the university.

He also expresses deep gratitude to the academic and administrative leadership of the university and faculty, the faculty members and their assistants, the administrative staff, and all who contributed to this achievement. Their dedicated efforts and diligent work were pivotal in obtaining accreditation for the faculty’s programs.

The Dean emphasized that this success is the result of teamwork and collaboration among all faculty members and wished for continued excellence and advancement in the future.

Today, Tuesday, February 17, 2026, the Faculty Council of Shoubra Faculty of Engineering convened under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Saeed Abdelghaffar, Dean of the Faculty, with the attendance of the vice deans and a number of council members.

On Monday, February 16, 2026, the external review team for institutional accreditation from the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education (NAQAAE), chaired by Dr. Abdelmonem Abdelbary Abdelqawy, completed its visit to Shoubra Faculty of Engineering.

The review team included:

• Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Ahmed Ibrahim

The visit encompassed reviewing practical practices, activities, and institutional accreditation documents. The team also held meetings with faculty leadership, academic staff, students, administrative personnel, alumni, and community stakeholders, in addition to inspecting the faculty’s infrastructure, laboratories, workshops, and classrooms.

This step is part of the faculty’s progress toward institutional accreditation, following its fulfillment of quality requirements and accreditation of all academic programs. It underscores the faculty’s role in community service and providing national-level engineering consultancy, while reflecting the university’s commitment to fostering a culture of quality and continuous development.
